Do you really think it was childish for him to admit what was 100% clear to everybody - that they made a deal for Gus to play the event?

Furthermore his comments were more than gracious - he basically said Gus has a much better chance than he does in this type of event, so logically he should play. What was the childish part?

OT
Absolutely, he handled it honestly and without hesitation.

Sportsbooks don't care who the favorite is .. it's all about how much people are betting on which side. The goal of the sportsbook is to bring in the same amount of money on all sides so that they make money on the vig - no matter who wins.

If everybody is betting on Ivey, his odds will get worse and others will get better.

Its pretty sick that Deeb won a million just like that, his largest score ever and it was in a turbo crapshoot.

Your seriously debating the structure on a one time tournament for charity that you would never be able to afford in a lifetime?

I'm more concerned about the fact that only 10% is going to charity and ex FT pros are playing with stolen money. I hope Andy Beal wins and donates it all. God forbid some FT degenerate or Phil "UB who?" Helmuth wins and just keeps it for there greedy selves after they pay off all their loan sharks.

LOL payout structure discussions!
