Apparently I m the only one that likes the payout structure (as a railbird ). Sick payjumps and a massive first prize. playing heads up for 8 Megas is just insane.

1st - 7th should cash.. If they capped it at 52 instead of 48then paying 8 or 9 spots isn't that bad imo.. Any MTT that's under 50 players usually pays only top 5-6 afaik..

45 man sngs pay 7 spots on most sites. Based on the PS payout %s for a 45 man sng the payouts would go:

1st = $13,226,668
2nd = $9,173,335
3rd = $7,040,000
4th = $5,333,335
5th = $3,840,000
6th = $2,560,000
7th = $1,493,334

The payout structure really is bad. The first prize is biggest ever in history of poker anyways. Just plain stupidity, and it's almost a guarantee a deal will be made unless a billionaire manages to make it to the money. I find it hard to believe a billionaire would make any deals :P

Difference between 9th and 5th place money is super small, only $720k. Meh.

Too many small pay jumps.. who doesn't want crazy 4 handed action?

It's almost 7am but here's my quick excitement/ICM packed pay-out structure:

1st - 18,000,000
2nd - 10,000,000
3rd - 6,000,000
4th - 4,000,000
5th - 2,900,000
6th - 1,600,000

+207 on them being tied after 90 minutes + stoppage seems great to me.

Yeah I was taking the online 45-mans into consideration. Most of the live MTT's that I've played in will only pay top 5-6 if they don't seat more than 50.

Not if one of the other guys high up on the list finishes well too. If DN got 2nd and one of the businessmen won he'd still be up around $8mil on them.

One of the businessmen to root for is John Morgan. If he cashes, 10% of his winnings goes into the prize pool of a $130 tournament at Canterbury Park in October.
