Nothing against either of those two, but ahead of the Devilfish? No way.

Harman is debatable, but why Devilfish has to be ahead Juanda?
As Negreanu stated in his blogpost, this is about the better poker player, and no doubt Juanda is the far better player.

More Full Tilt Ponzi scammers? Is this the best the poker world can offer? Maybe Joan Rivers was correct.

Congrats to both. Quite a few others on that list deserving as well. Some likely to get in eventually, but with only two per year, going to be tough to get everyone deserving in.

this is the Las Vegas hall of fame anyway, owned by Ceasers, with no permanent display anywhere. Almost no international players ever selected.

Juanda likely has the best overall poker resume on that list. He was the FT owner that tried to shake up the Board members, but was shut down by Howard and Jesus. So its hard to blame him for FTs problems other than that didn't give back any of the money he made paid to him as profits while FT didn't have money in accounts to cover player balances. That part is bad enough to keep him out if true...imo

They need more internationally players, which is why I thought Devilfish was getting in. I have no idea whether Devilfish was a better player than Harmon, but she is very active in Doyle's games for many years all the way back to the Andy Beal Corp days, and all his buddies eventually get in.

I think she is deserving to be in as were several other players on that list, just odd that there is a certain click of players that seem to get in, then vote all their buddies in.

While I think they are both deserving, a little worried this is the beginning of the transition from "Poker Hall of Doyle's Friends" to "Poker Hall of Daniel's Friends".

How much money do you have to lose to make it on the ballot

What have either of these people accomplished? Just curious besides being members of Full Tilt.

Beating big games for lots of money. Juanda has a lot of tournament success you can look at on hendonmob.

Let's just put anyone who is in Negreanu's phonebook on his cell phone in the HOF.

Will save time.

There is a Poker Hall of Fame photo gallery right next to Binions poker room in downtown Vegas. I saw it a year ago and assume it's still there. There was about 18 members' photos (although not all members were shown). Not exactly Cooperstown but at least something.

Why should he get in? Took Tim Brown like 10 years to get in. Maybe Devilfish should get in around 2050

Devilfish was a terrible person. He shouldn't get in based on how he treated others.

The should be a Princess Diana rule that you can't get in for at least a year after you die, so good that he didn't get in this year - next year he looks like a strong candidate though.

But isn't this the WSOP hall of fame rather than the poker hall of fame anyway? - so it's obviously going to be Las Vegas focused.

By the content of your post it seems to me that you obviously knew him very well. For the people who didn't know Dave, please could you enlighten them on why he was a terrible person.

So, a guy dies, and people think that means instant inclusion into the HoF? I'm glad it didn't turn out that way (though I probably wouldn't have voted for either of the two that did make it).
