Oh my goodness would you guys please stop. I have no criminal record and no history of doing any bad will in this world. I have thousands of high quality posts on here that have helped countless people particularly with this card game. If you guys want to keep trolling I have no problem leaving 2p2 again just like every other known player has left. You guys can keep the anonymous trolls around if that's what you prefer.

Just rewatched the HORSE event from 2008 on pokergo. Jesus Scotty Nguyen really comes off as a prick (Which isnt a surprise). I really wish Dimichelle would have told him to go **** themselves... I know if he did he would have backed off. I mean he was upset because he was smiling having fun and celebrating after winning hands? Scott was high fiving layne flack and celebrating after all his wins.

Did he watch any poker during those days ? Hevad Khan was screaming BULLLLDOLLLZZZERR after every chip he won, that matias anderson guy would scream like something was stuck in his throat. The amount of overtop celebrations during that time were endless.

this is the most entertaining final tables in WSOP history - it really shows old school poker meeting the new school at the end of the height of the boom......the old guard expected younger players to "respect" them - especially in a fixed limit high stakes mixed game format and you could see MDM playing better than both of them lol and them just losing their **** on him - also always amazed to see how far these guys have fallen - Lindgren and Scotty droppin to the knees in allys to pay rent and all that money they owe

If you were loud enough in your celebrations at the start of the poker boom and got on the TV coverage you'd get a sponsorship contract. This turned into loads of annoying ****s doing it and it's hard to know which one was the worst. Either the guy that howled like a dog every time he won a pot or the "stack em, stack em, stack em to the top!" wifey for me.

Scotty Nguyen owned him then went onto multiple 6 figure scores afterwards including a ~$600k score 3 years ago whereas MDM pretty much fell off the poker map. Revisionist history much?

Yeah this is definitely true. Hevad Khan and i think the other guy you are referring to is Ted Bort, their celebrations seemed forced just so they could get more TV time/sponsorships, but Michael Dimechelle was already at the final table ...him celebrating after every hand was genuine, it wasnt like he was doing it for more TV time.

Is LIndgren broke? I noticed most of his recent cashes were in $500 events. I always assumed you was rich from the Full Tilt money. Plus he wasnt a terrible player.

I think you may have missed a couple of things over the years

Agree.

1 of the most entertaining and BEST final tables ever.

I think the difference between then and now is the audience knows these players. Albeit it took a $ investment from fulltilt to promote the players they promoted, and no poker sites are willing to do that anymore (and I can see why.) It's a shame!

1 point on diMichele.

Unfortunately if you take the UB $ then the people will hate (on) you.

(Who knew fulltilt as a company weren't much better???!!!)
