FWIW, I'm pretty sure significantly >90% of all banned accounts are spammers / spam bots. When we unban them and also delete the IP ban list, we need to find an efficient way to notify them so they can reuse their old accounts instead of always having to create new ones.

I am glad to see you want to grow this into a bigger community. However some of the things you have mentionned seem a bit backwards.
Making the market place open is literally the worst decison you could make. I strongly advise against it. Sure, things could be changed a bit since the MP has died down, but please do not think it died down because of restrictions. MP died because other sites that are more tech advanced came in and utilised that market segment better.

I have a lot of ideas and insight on how you could accomplish what you want. If that's something that interests you, reach out and I would love to help. 2+2 has done a lot for me and it's the least I could do.

I stand corrected for the offline vs live and will no longer bust your chops for that. Though your English is perfect so dont really buy that, someone said above that some (at least one) in Russia refer to live as offline.

Finally, since you are obviously cognizant of online world, how on earth could you suggest that unbanning scammers in marketplace is good idea. Is weed legal in Thailand?

Also as one of the old hands of two plus tow I feel as somewhat an ambassador. I would like to welcome and point out the problem with racism and homophobia I have noticed in some threads in recent weeks going unchecked and running rampant. Especially the Landon thread. I am just glad we have new owners of “alternative” lifestyles who know first hand what it’s like and will hopefully clean up the threads.

Of the 10's of thousands of people banned around here, 90% had nothing to do with the marketplace.

Due to similarities in demographics there may be strong synergies between a site like this and a porn site. The new owners should seriously consider buying a small porn site in order to reap the synergies that such a combination could produce.

Once such synergies have been realized, a move into the brick and mortar business of legalized marijuana in places like Nevada might not be a bad idea from a corporate perspective.
