It seems unlikely that these two things are connected - I would be surprised to learn that many (any?) 2p2 users have their phone numbers stored in their 2p2 profiles somewhere

I was going to put my phone number until I realized that it then left no space to enter my SSN.

Moderation is good, mods dictating the conversation is bad. If people are posting out and out unrelated stuff sure, move it or delete it/ban them, but if a conversation is going in a particular direction with many people engaging and is relevant, it shouldn't be up to mods to decide what's allowed because they don't agree with some of the things being posted. That's how 2+2 mods used to behave, was friends with many of them, but in the last 3-4 years they've gotten progressively worse and put their views and thoughts ahead of the posters ability to discuss things. That's why 2+2 sucks now, not because "poker is dying".

Has everyone noticed that now there are 50 threads per page instead of the old 25 threads. I think this is a good idea, gives you more choices without having to click on page 2.
