It's a pretty bad sign that all these long time pros have to resort to playing so low.

I know it may truly just be that the new guard has basically taken over at the highest stakes .... But I think most of it is a lack of money/games at high levels except for very tough competition.

A few years back I saw Gavin Smith playing 1/2 NL at the eldorado in Reno Nevada. Dude was hammered. I honestly didn't go over to him because I didn't want to be one of those guys. He seemed like he just wanted to party and have a good time. Still wish I would of at least got a picture.

i don't know viffer but prob more likely he is doing some kind of prop bet vs him actually grinding cause he's broke. the guy obv is a live killer and most likely if he is broke could get staked to play in much higher games. unlike a lot of the poker celebs being outed as broke viffer is a proven winning player.

pretty funny opinions viffer had about 2+2 on an old poker after dark cash game. apparently the viffster doesnt appreciate the internet kids and their gossip! (skip to 21:43 in the youtube clip to get to the conversation. i transcribed it for those who are too lazy or dont care.)

WOW. how is it possible for a grown man to have such a poor vocabulary? he talks like a 13 year old schoolgirl. its hilarious and sad at the same time. entertaining for sure. it doesnt surprise me that a guy that uneducated blew millions of dollars and is on a 5/5 grind these days. its tough to listen to him speak sometimes. can somebody count the number of times he said "like" in that short exchange?
