I have the Yellow Book. "The Theory of Poker" That is very generous. I will just buy it.
Hi Ivey #1 Fan:
I have a suggestion. Why don't you send me a private message and we'll send you this book at no charge, and then you can purchase another one of our titles. We have some for sale at a very good prices right here:
The promotion for the free books is now over and we're expecting to ship most of them tomorrow (Monday), and we went well over the number 50.
Also, there a a couple of you for which I don't yet have a mailing address for which a free book is promised. That promise will still be honored even though we're past the deadline. So just get the information to me when you can.
And we hope to start hearing some comments on the book in a few days.

Mainly posting to keep thread from falling off the first page while waiting for mail to be delivered. But I also should amend my last post to say that if you come to a particularly interesting part of the book then you are welcome to go ahead and write about it before reading the whole thing.
Also those who already have the book are welcome to post comments on this thread as well.
Got my book on Thursday and I'm gonna start reading it today. It's bigger than I expected it would be. I thought it would be more of a booklet since 2p2 is giving 50+ of them out for free but it's a real book! Thanks.
Im probably 40-50 pages in. My initial impression is that its very very math heavy.. pot odds, implied odds, different card combinations, GTO theory etc.. I see it as a book that can be beneficial for all skill levels , but most likely best served for intermediate/advanced players. I consider myself a semi pro/casual player, who knew very little about GTO and how to calculate ranges of my opponent etc.. I can already tell that I will be a more well rounded player once im finished with the book. It's also a book which should be read more than once and most likely best to skim through on your first go through - theres a lot to digest. I'll post my full review once Im finished reading.
