He hasn't passed yet and his family would people to refrain from posting info until they are ready to release a statement. He is still in ICU in critical condition.

If you search Twitter for his name, there's a dozen RIPs going back for at least an hour...

Oops sorry, I saw the article this morning on PTPNews about it. Not sure why tons of players are tweeting out RIP then.

I'm aware. It was just people who understand what the outcome was going to be going ahead and saying things then.

However I'm now seeing some of his closest say that we lost the battle, so I am assuming it is now true. I haven't been directly told by his immediate family who I have been in contact with, but it seems that will be just a matter of time.

this is totally irrelevant in a time like this but, i just checked out his FB page, he looked so much different than when i saw him years ago in pics. Did he bulk up quite a bit? then the long black hair...dude looked like lil wayne

if hes still kicking, im pulling for him and hope for a complete turn around.

Over his 15 year career Chad had amassed over 6 million dollars playing online poker, and another million playing live.

Chad was a loving son and grandson, an incredible brother, an amazing friend, and a legendary poker player. He will be missed.

Wow I'm deeply sorry his family and friends, I played with him a few times and he is genuinely a nice guy and a scary smart poker player. He overcame a lot in his life and was already a legend in the coral springs area back in the day.

I've never logged on to rail someone in an online MTT before except for chad. Great person, great to the people around him and will keep his family in my prayers.
