I remember Hoorvech as a very talented and happy guy he was naturally very successful in poker and made it big from a very early age. It goes to show that even if you are very successful mental illness is a very very serious and sad issue. R.I.P

As somebody who has written quite publicly in my own 2P2 blogs about mental health issues and poker this is really sad to see/read.

People need to understand the dire troubles that can be associated with mental health and the swings of any addictive activity (poker, drugs, gaming etc).

Thoughts and prayers with this man's family and friends.
Very tragic. Played a bunch of 100/200z vs him this year. I even remember being a bit of a dick in chat to him at one point, and the reason I remember that is because he replied in an extremely nice way that made me feel bad and instantly apologize. Seemed like a great guy.
God bless the peace makers
I am grateful when people reply like that to my rants in chat. I lost a childhood friend to suicide a few years back, so I know what you all are going through. R.i.p.

Such sad news, we tangled a fair bit back in the day on the comeup, I've certainly experienced the beginnings of what he went through in his last year. Don't suffer alone, RIP HorVeech

Thought about this as well in the past. Think it would be +EV for sure but thought the idea would just get guffawed at by too many people, or misunderstood as "bad beat story sharing/general whining about personal state of affairs". If done properly/structured well, psychological/emotional discussion as related to poker and the lifestyle could be really beneficial.

RIP. I don't know much about skitzophrenia but ty for making the post. I will read up on it now just in case I have friends in this kind of situation. Was trying to see the main cause of it but it says its unknown that for some its life long disease and it can just happen out of no where. So there is no way to cure it? It just comes and goes on its own?
