My first gold chest was at 700 coins.I dont know where you read that,but since i received that challenge,my chests was at a standard : 4250 for silver and 13000 for gold

Silver is 2850 and Gold 10800 in trial.

How many chests does the client tell you you need to upgrade? 10 or 7 ?

Jesus, it's amazing that someone supposedly plays mid-stakes MTTs but can't seem to wrap their head around the reward system.

I mean, it's unnecessarily complicated but it's still way simpler than a preflop range.

If that's your goal then it's easy to plan your buy-ins around reaching that goal or conclude that it's unattainable and forget about it.

As I've posted before itt, I've had these challenges most months the last two years. They seem to give you challenges starting decently higher than your usual volume. If you raked 2k a month I'd expect a challenge wanting you to rake 3k etc. I get why but it kind of sucks.
I used to rake 6kish a month and got challenges for 8k for example.

This one takes at cake. Gold Chest reward = 5 spins of Frog of Fortune at $2 spin. I thought that was odd as I never had a reward like a reward like that. So I spin, and my spins equal 0.

Great gold reward.

Anyway, if you have finished your bonus, and have a short time to start another one that you have no chance of completing, anyone have thoughts on whether is it better to start it and fail miserably or not bother starting, considering the effect on future targets?

the other fixed 15%-25% (blue to black chest) still beats the hell out if my 2,1% rb

just because you dont grind enough to to get the 40% cash back on top of that doesnt make it worthless.

i honestly wish i was that lucky, would have loved to get my rb increased 1000%, literally a 1000%

I would love to see some internal memos/numbers on those challenges lol. It just seems so obvious that they are strutured specifically to get the players in question to put in a lot of volume and still have most players fail to complete the challenge. My guess is this challenge is -EV for >90% of the players which is only fitting given that Pokerstars is basically a casino business these days ...

As for my challenge, I work full time and I managed to play like 20,000 hands over 2 weeks and only achieved 60% of the required points lol. This is just madness ...

Well ya, I gave up once I realized it was more or less impossible to do while having an actual life outside of work and poker.
The point is that the goal was made to be nearly impossible to achieve. It required playing 2x the hands I’ve played all year so far in one month.
Doesn’t really help a non-pro at all.
