For example, I could host an image on a server I have access to, and then post that image on 2+2. I will get the IP address of everyone who opens the 2+2 page containing that image. The only problem is I won't be able to connect the IPs with screennames. That's why scammers will send out links to images, because if they only send that link to one person, they know that person's IP address.

Do not click on links in poker table chats, or links that a potential scammer might send you privately.
+1

And IIRC, Archuleta was exploiting a bug in Skype that allowed him to see the IP address of the person he was messaging with. I'm not sure if that bug has been fixed or not, but it's worth looking in to.

I know this might seem soft but shouldn't we b working with op in order to show someone can come clean instead of goin' full prosecution and exemplary sentence- prison time....
If we want to reduce the risk of fraud in the game as ppl state op can give insight on how this can be done to some degree.

If its true and genuine redemption he is looking for. ... obv that can be debated all day in the ' once a scamer always a scammer' argument.

isnt it a bit too much of witch-hunt/self-justice to post adresse(s) and pictures, even though op really commited a pretty big theft?!

The poker community makes me very sad and disappointed sometimes.

GL to everyone that got scammed, this is some bull****.
FWIW, there is nothing new about much of the information in the OP. There are a few "serial scammers" that are responsible for a large number of the scams perpetrated in the marketplace and transfers threads; OP is one of them.

Burning bushes that can talk. Boats capable of storing 2x every animal on the planet. People being born with survival organs like a digestive system before sin brought-about death. All sounds completely legit to me.

If you experienced hell for 5 minutes at 5% of the effects you must likely wouldn't wish this upon even Adolf Hitler...

I said burn in hell on the tables many times and I should have never said that. I was wrong.

This is fantastic!

All we need to do is just indoctrinate criminals into religion and threaten them with some weird fire pit in the ground where their eternal essence burns for eternity or something idk (we'll figure out the details later) and they'll totally repent.

Religion, how I underestimated thee!

That is a substantial amount of money. IMO there is enough info to involve law enforcement. Credit to op for coming clean, but that doesn't mean he should get the easy way out. The money is not his so he has no right to dictate when and how he pays it back. Did he ask any questions or have any empathy when he took the money from you? Involve the police ASAP and if he needs to sell his house to pay the judgement then so be it. Might sound harsh, but if op truly understands the seriousness of his actions he will understand the consequences.

It just seems to take a while to set in, given that in this case the time in Brownwood as a juvenile in 2005 did him no good nor did the period of time in March/April 2012 under #1769935 before he was able to skate from TDCJ due to a quirk in the law.

Forum User Claims Web of Poker Scams Worth $300K

By Ivan Potocki

"Parts of this post also contain statements that could best be described as pathetic like Life is about doing good to others and I want to follow the path of righteousness! and I will use my knowledge to improve Science, The Economy, and Well Being of others lives, especially coming from a self-proclaimed professional scammer."

Ivan Potocki, how is this pathetic? Come post here and give your explanation please.

Because I didn't do good to others does not mean that's what life is not about. I fell. I was wrong.
We all know the golden rule...
But, I have to say you are wrong for posting that publicly and attempting to lead the public astray from the main purpose of my message.

I'd love to speak with in person lets meet and do an interview...
