Are there any poker players currently living in Club Marena in Rosarito? Thinking about heading down there and wanted to know how the internet was compared to the rest of Rosarito. Also... If anyone in Rosarito will have an extra room for Dec- 15 to Jan 15. Let me know!

I'm moving to Canada next month.. and basically got everything set up minus my bank account / stars account open. i was wondering if any could share their experience with me, on what they went through. Such as best banks, depositing, info needed for stars account. I tried reaching P-stars 5 days ago, nothing yet.

just making sure i don't screw up anything and do everything the correct way. thank you

Hi guys!

I guess this topic has been already discussed but I have issues to find answers in the search menu. So here it is.

I'm French, but I live in Bali, Indonesia. I play semi pro, online, MTT. But I have a big issue here: beside the fact that there is no casino at all, my main issue is that most online tournaments are running during European time and American time. Here in Asia we have some issues playing from morning to end of the afternoon. And if we want to play the biggest tournaments, it's a nightmare, as they start around 1am local time...

Still I succeeded to manage it until now, but if I really want to consider a pro life, I have to consider other options.

So my question is: where should I go? I need and access to GGPoker and PS of course, beach and sun would be great, and a place where food + rent don't cost too much. Of course low taxes on poker income would be great ! Beside French and English I speak also Spanish, so all latin america is an option. But is it the place to be? I'm not sure.

Anyway, i'm open for suggestions.

Thanks

latin america. lots of great options in mexico, brazil, peru, tons of other countries as well. i'd avoid colombia because ps is banned there. somewhere like playa del carmen, acapulco, puerto vallarta in mexico would be a good start, no problem getting high speed internet and cheap living expenses on nice beaches. all relatively safe afaik. mexico has a thriving live poker scene as well.

maybe eastern Europe also to be considered?

The main problem with eastern Europe is the weather... Or Croatia seems to be a good option according to some posts I saw, however the language is gonna be a pain in the ...

But I'm French, so if I could move back to Europe it would be good tho. Easy to travel back to France for some days and visit my friends and family. Spain would be the best, but the market is closed, no .com...

Go on airbnb, take a rent for one or two weeks in Mexico, and you'll search for a new rent from there

Best country for EU grinders is portugal. Can play on all the apps and GGpoker, supposedly, it's tax free.. very cheap outside biggest cities... Algarve has great weather in winter...Very safe and food is pretty solid.

Now if you play on Stars need other options ofc or if you play MTTs across tons of sites.

Hi guys

Just a small thread to anyone considering moving abroad to play on line poker.

One of the best places to do so is Malta, its legal to play online poker and best of all tax free.

Pleantly of live action as well with casinos having poker.

Malta is situated in the middle of the Meditereanean, just below Italy, good climate all year round, Englsih speaking and quite affordable, for more info see www.visitmalta.com the best way to travel in the country by https://www.cool.mt/

I am Maltese myself so if you have any questions drop me a line on peter.jhns91@gmail.com

I can also help you obtain residence permit and open bank accounts if required.

Hi all,

is there anyone, who lives and play online in Spain?

I am thinking about moving there, because of weather and i'd like to know, how is the traffic across major sites (Party, PS and winamax perhaps?).

And what i need to have to play? I have read something about NIE (Tax code number???)

Thx,

Daniel

im spanish and dont recommend Spain at all.
Excelent food and weather but terrible country for poker (high tax, z200 doesnt run except on some days, z100 is tougher than .com. As for regular tables you can find some pretty good ones for 200 or even 500 but that happens rarely. Havent opened Winamax in months (zoom didnt run)

Hi and many thank for your answer.

Good thing is im not a fan of zoom poker, so ID like to know what traffic is at NL/PLO 50 and 100.

And what tournaments are running Daily?

About taxes... Im planning to have a regular part time job as well, so do i still have to pay taxes from poker?

Dunno how it works there.

Im almost 100% sure i cant send PM on here, so you can send me one with your IG, fb or just simply repl here.

Much appreciate,

Daniel
