re: Landon Tice lays 9bb to Perkins: HU challenge

Rob is a true hustler. He is infinitely better then Bill.

Only wants to play 1k hand sessions 5k hands so he can keep up the hustle in the future lol.

re: Landon Tice lays 9bb to Perkins: HU challenge

5k hands is such a gamble for anything let alone 15bbs/100

Did I do this right ?

5000/100=50

50*15=750

750*400=$300,000usd or 750bbs that he must win by in 5k hands ?

A still relatively unknown 21 yo with 5% of himself vs a couple big whales? People are going to watch this?

Also paying 9bb and 15bb is hilarious and such a horrific deal for Landon. What are him and his backers thinking?

Kid clearly needs a wake up call and to learn a few life lessons. Maybe these challenges will do the trick.

I got no hate for Landon, I remember at 21 I thought I could take on the world too.

21 years old and playing 40knl (regardless of what % he has of himself) is impressive stuff.

hahahaha im dying at the silly people around here believing bill will play more than few thousands hands especially if he starts down, pure comedy if they dont put rules for specific amount of hands each week.

Would you rather he offer lower stakes and get no responses from the VIPs resulting in 0 hands being played?

Sometimes it feels as if a lot of you rail birds believe these challenges are being made for your entertainment. They're not.

If Bill and rob lose 6 figs to a 21 year old virgin who has 10% of himself, they should just hang it up.

re: Landon Tice lays 9bb to Perkins: HU challenge

Gotta appreciate the balls on this kid but this will be a serious wake up call, even if he wins he will at least realize what 9bb/100 and 15bb/100 really feel like. He chose two good people to play against the problem is they are intelligent and might actually make life very difficult for him

The Rob Yong challenge in particular might be a very painful lesson, I've had massive downswings against mega fish when I used to play HU in 5k hand stretches, I can't imagine laying 15bb/100 on top of that

Landon has played poker for 2 years or so right? I think Bill wins this pretty easily.

Doesn't BP already have a high stakes challenge he needs to finish?

My money's on Bill "Crazy Hat" Perkins.

He's been known to mix it up with suited connectors, and not afraid to put the chips in.

if it was like 20k/40k i like perkins side. I doubt bill actually plays 20k hands of 200/400 without buying out due to boredom though.

Landon tice lays 9bb to Perkins: HU challenge

Jeepers, so itís true .... he has 5-10% of himself ?

I realise this is a poker message board. But is there anyone who can see there is something foul about a young man, who at 21 should be learning how to work, study, build relationships with a wide range of people and generally orientate himself in the world. Instead playing a high stakes card game and giving away 90%+ of the profits to a couple of enabling slimeballs ?

Hes probably got a higher net worth than you at your 40 something mid life crisis stage. Its fortunate the whole population isn't forced into your vision of what a life should be horses for courses and all that.

Why all the Landon hate? Makes no sense to me. He's a beast and seems like a chill dude.

It's an interesting match up too. Older life crusher with "street smarts" vs unknown kid born running sims.

It's great content just enjoy it lol

So that is assuming they complete at 20k hands right. What if they end up playing only 10k hands and you still are laying -720k? lol
