Landon Tice lays 9bb to Perkins: HU challenge Landon Tice lays 9bb to Perkins: HU challenge

Looks like the next HU challenge that will be covered in the poker world is online USA grinder Landon tice popularized by Joeingram who plays mid-highstake will be playing Bill perkins for 20k hands laying 9bb odds at 200/400 stakes.

Is this the biggest hustle ever where Perkins gets his money back from his losing side bets vs Doug?? After talking about studying HU for months with hybridpoker app alongside Dnegs who played his own challenge? Or will Perkins still manage to lose while being spotted 9bb?

If Doug polk who used to be the best HU player in the world beat Daniel Negreanu who was inexperienced in HU for ~11bb over 25k hands , how will a 6 max grinder (who seems to play a mix of HU on side) do vs Perkins who has been exposed to the same gto app practice and coaching dnegs has over the last few months while laying huge odds?

Will the challenge even complete ? Since Perkins vs Galfond challenge is still on hold

this challenge wont go 20k hands.

perkins doesnt want to invest in such a time sink.

Who’s funding this event? No way 21 yr old can go on a 500k downswing.... And laying 9bb/100.... How’s he paying the billionaire 700k+ To play...

Believe hes mentioned in multiple streams/interviews he is fully backed for his cash games and mtts from a combo of Matt berkey/ christian soto / lucky chewy / maybe nick shulman (since hes part of the study group he refers to a lot).

Said he was in like 100k makeup before his live mtt bink and now hes playing up to 10k online again on WSOP

9BB/100 seems a lot. The 15bb/100 against Rob Yong sounds risky

Actually thinking about it, sounds stupid. I mean, even if he thinks he can beat Rob Yong 20bb/100, he will end up only winning 5bb/100 if it plays to expectation. Which is only 25% of his win rate against him. And with variance if he runs bad, it's not gonna be easy to keep up with 15bb/100.

Maybe the skill gap is that big.

IMHO, If you want to generate maximum interest for these types of challenges you should do full hole cards with a 5 minute delay.

15bb/100 vs Rob is pretty bad and imo Rob is a much better player than Perkins

Whatever happened to the Perkins galfond challengs? Didn’t he quit after like 100 hands?

Probably same result here

Where can I bet against Landon in the 15bb challenge

Looking forward to seeing the Pokershares lines for this challenge, including the lines for how long it actually will run for because lol @ 20k hands

Also most interesting part may just be what Landon's deal with his backers looks like. Gets to keep 10% of eventual profits or something? Hmffff

Imagine Perkins not getting bored before 5k hands

IF Landon somehow does lose it might be the best thing ever for his career, no one will ever not play him HU/short ring after that.

Really ? This guy Landon I always see bragging on Twitter is backed /only has 10% of himself ?

Heads up for 10% of his soul it is then. Wait ... how does that work?

Maybe he gives it up 1 day a week?

Meh, kind of nice I suppose.

No Negreanu versus Polk though.

Pretty boring/pointless if he's only got a tiny % of himself.

lol what's up with everyone saying, he will just have a small % of himself? so what?

I guess it would also be very boring as this will be a small % of BP net worth... using same logic.

Anway if he just has 10% of himself its still 20/40 that's probably 10x higher than one in here plays anyway....

Brags about MTT wins, fires off challenges on Twitter like he's some end boss, offers 9bb/100 (and 15 to Rob), 200/400 stakes! But has 10% of himself. How droll.

Why don't these guys challenge real players ? This is similar to how pro boxers are fighting youtube celebs/nba players.

Bill getting his hustle on to try to win back his $2-4 mil or whatever he ended up firing off on Dnegs challenge
