These 4-bets in position really wreck havok on the OOP raiser. If you 5 bet and get called it creates a 1:1 shove at the flop and a 2:1 call for the opponent. If they hit any piece of that flop (even just a pair) they're usually calling. I've seen it happening so many times lately that I really want to run the #s on it because the 5 bettor rarely check-folds at the flop and many times you see them getting called and having just 4 overcards.

go re-read my message i tried it out with different scenarios and posted #s. usually the 5 bettor has 4 paint or an overpair so i tested it out with different scenarios.

the reason i looked at it is because i've been railing this and the 6m game a lot the past few days and noticed the OOP 5 bettor shoving the flops with air and it just really feels like it's disadvantageous to 5bet oop without a high pair since the 4 bettor never folds. it really depends on the stack sizes going to the flop vs the pot size
