People aren't just haters about Frankenberger because he's having success. Most of us don't hate Ivey or Durrr and they have way more success. People are hating on him because by all accounts he seems to be pretty terrible at poker yet is running far above expectation.

Not just any random red sox game as well, they were playing the yankees lol. That QQ hand laydown is wow vs timoshenko, hadnt heard about it til now. I guess if you're never all in you can't bust...

Out of curiousity, anyone know what QQ vs a range of 'JJ+ and AK' is?

The hate for this guy is completely unwarranted.

He's humble and admits he has a lot to learn, which is scary since his raw instincts are top notch.

Because he plays differently and not predictable he sucks.....ok. If he was a jerk I could see the anger but in every interview he seems humble and nice.

Most of you are truly pathetic and need to grow up.

As much grief as he takes and as much as his natural tendencies tilt me when watching him at the table, it's different when you see him interviewed. He comes across as humble, intelligent, sincere, and he doesn't take himself too seriously while showing an intense dedication to improving his game.

He just lost a ton of chips and others at the table start jumping all over him, while he may have been a bit defensive the other players were way more out of line and should have kept their mouths shut.

Also he explained his reasoning earlier in the thread, it's fine to disagree with it, but he did have some logic behind why he folded.

In no way does he come across as some jerk who thinks he's the best ever.

He admits he makes mistakes, just like 100% of poker players do at times.

You should really do your homework, he had already made it to the final round, it was a weird point system and not a typical NLHE MTT. Do your research.
