Either have a f-n bet line or don't.

People should be able to do whatever they want behind the line and the other guy should have the discipline to wait until the guy's chips cross the line before responding. Otherwise, the bet line is useless. Are we watching for forward motion or the bet line? Which is it? The line makes me think it matters, but in practice, it doesnt.

Just realize NOTHING matters if the chips are not over the line.
Dont muck, dont show, dont start to show, just wait. It's not that hard. Make the guy feel stupid for doing a chip or card dance behind the line while you just sit there waiting.

'forward motion' would never be a thing if idiots could just wait until the bet crosses the line and then the bet line would actually matter.

I dont angle shoot, but the amount of arguments over people mistakenly responding before the chips are over the line makes my head hurt. When it's not my action, I just sit with my hands not near my cards and wait until the chips or cards are over the line. No forward motion will get me to react. Is this that hard for others to do too?
