I'm goign to be dumb and say I think a headsup duplicate game sounds like a cracking idea.
Enter as pairs. Play a series of hands against the other teams much like as in duplicate bridge. Start each hand with the same deep stack and rank teams by who wins the most. Need a lot more prepared hands than in bridge but that could be done with tech rather than actual cards.
Oh it's folded to us? Why don't we stop playing poker and waste everyone's time. Let's pay rake to the casino by checking it down in an attempt to win a jackpot we don't have nearly the correct odds to go for.
