IMO there's something painful about there being a Sam Trickett room (and on another site there is a framed picture of Sam in the room which is even more painful)

Also I know he's had some big scores but initially he was bought into these events by a man who was meant to be a Muti million fraudster, and so would never have had the buy in himself it just tilts me. And if the man was a fraudster none of them should have had the money.

But then again maybe the uk scene has such a small pool of talent that Trickett is currently the golden boy of uk poker because of it?

Looks very nice but it remains to be seen whether DTD can carry on for much longer with Rob Yong doing his absolute taters putting up guarantees for tournaments that regularly don't make the guarantee. Grosvenor has just taken over the Gala in Nottingham and is targeting a full refurbishment in January with a fully fledged poker room in what is now their bar area, a major upgrade from their current poker volume (up to 3 cash games and a small tournament almost every day)
