Omahahahah is dead to ARod

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crim...#ixzz2QkM5wMqF

ARod allegedly made a profit of nearly 40 million dollars from playing poker in this illegal NY poker club (link above) and did not pay any taxes on his earnings. The Feds hate him as a result and urged MLB to give him a life ban.

MLB was basically forced to use Federal surveillance to spy on ARod to collect evidence to incriminate him.

Bottom line...ARod is a talented poker player (maybe better than baseball player) and could make it his new career. He has a large bankroll, a lot of experience at cash games, a ton of free time, and no other good options for careers that will keep him in the mainstream spotlight.

I have listened to simulcast WFAN radio in NY this week and the talk is that if ARod gets permabanned from MLB he will either become a pro poker player or pro wrestler.

When you're worth 9 figures, it definitely makes sense to commit federal tax evasion and risk jail time to be able to hold onto a few extra million.

NY Daily News looks like a high-quality publication.

Yeah, it seems likely that the highest-paid baseball players of all time is an even better poker player, especially given the large and verifiable sample size of poker playing we have to go from.

Source that he's up $40MM? I'm not seeing that in the story.

ARod loves WWE and said one of his life dreams is "to wrestle John Cena at WrestleMania"

You tell me he wouldn't make a great WWE bad guy. They can call him A-Roidz. He can wear an anti-MLB t-shirt. Or a Jeter jersey with the name Jeter Xed out. Or a shirt with a pic of Brian Cashman on the toilet.

lmf.ao that the "Feds" hate a guy for not paying taxes....The Feds don't get mad they get Felony indictments and have a 98.5% conviction rate in Court...
