Let me help you with the maths. The tourist who plays one hand and leaves doesn't change your equity in the jackpot. You could have written..

It doesn't matter who (regs or tourists) is paying for the jackpot. The equity per hand is the same for everyone each hand, regardless of whether that person is a reg or tourist.
