$4+1, no flop, no drop, bad beat jackpot drop of $1 at 10X the big blind for 1-2, 1-3, 2-5 No Limit Hold'em.

Full time pro's will make a minimum of $12,000.00 a year more.

Advantages:
1. You will pay a max of $6 a hand instead of $8 a hand at formerly $5+2 cardrooms.
2. The rake wont be $8+0 14+ hours a day when high hands are not running.
3. You wont pay a $1 for promo's when the pot is just $10.
4. Cardrooms will be forced to fix the error of not taking the $1 for promo's at $30 and $50 for 1-3 and 2-5 NLH.

Disadvantages:
NONE

Cardrooms would make more money. Increase in demand would exceed the loss of $1 not collected at $50. That dollar's EV is probally 20 cents at 1/2, 30 cents at 1/3.

Even if in some alternate Twilight Zone universe, card rooms were forced to cap rake at $4, Casinos Execs would say. "That's final straw, pull tables put in slots, We're here to make money , not to create jobs for poker playing regs".

Labor costs are going up and will continue. Rake will be going up, not down.
