I think all other games could be brought into the big-time, particularly
lowball, if played at no limit. Just an opinion for those who always push to
get people, and TV, to respect the other games...

I've played NL Omaha once. For the people that want to see Omaha more on TV, push for it to go NL. That is all I'll say about that.

NLO would probably be played just as fast as PLO so not much of a difference there.

If I remember correctly one of the posters in the highstakes forum played ultra deep 25/50NL Stud Hi/lo. Wouldn't be too bad if they introduce that.

They spread NLO at the Rio during WSOP I'm pretty sure.

Not lol at all. It would be a super tight game if it were NL. It's so hard to improve in badugi that puny limit bluffs can regularly get two players to fold on the draw, not to mention on the river getting 8 to 1.


That's absurd.

The barrier to PLO is not the lack of action (there's tons of action already), but the fact that there are too many hole cards for the view to track. In fact, more than twice, since more players will see a flop.

Similarly, stud games are also tough to watch.

And hi/lo? Did you see those graphics on the last HORSE coverage? Hideous.


In any case, pot-limit creates more action, and more interest pots. In fact, I think televised hold'em tournaments would be way more interesting if they were pot limit.


As for NL Omaha, too often it would be fold or flip, and that's not interesting, especially in a cash game, where someone's survival is not on the line.


Hmmm... they definitely spread PLO. I don't see why they would spread NLO, unless it's for a 1/1 or 1/2 table for the newbs and they want to speed the game up.
