Maybe. I would like to try again myself, but the one time I tried briefly didn't work out and I have yet to be able to convince anyone else. Doesn't seem like someone not good at that should be penalized though. Life is already cheaper for married people anyway ("two can live as cheaply as one").

As shown in the image. The average income of these individuals is low enough that the discrepancy from MFJ after all standard deductions would be so low that it isn't worth talking about
They prob pay a higher rate due to state taxes and dmv taxes etc

You don't get to pick what it means. Words mean things by themselves, not because of what we think they mean.

Guys, if it's something that brings down the black man or something he can't get, it's racist. So if the black man doesn't want to get married, obviously marriage is racist.

If the black man doesn't want an education, it's because schools are racist.

If the black man is blamed for killing someone with a gun, that gun is in fact racist.

That's actually basically the opposite of how languages work.

The reason? States with low (or no) income tax meet their budgets by taxing consumer goods, property, and certain services and items, Davis said. Since those items and services are taxed at a flat rate – everyone pays the same rate, regardless of income – they add up to a bigger chunk of poorer earners' incomes than richer ones, he said. Further, people who choose to live in states with little or no income tax might find they end up paying more than if they lived in a state with higher income taxes.

"It's a common (belief) that states without income states are universally lower-tax states," Davis said. But "the reality is that low-income people living in Texas (which has no personal income tax) pay much higher taxes than they would if they lived in a so-called higher tax state like California or New York."

I don't like how they say African American say African that's your nationality they don't say really German American or Italian American or Irish American I think that's a very little thing that represents a big thing because you really never hear a black person say they're African well I guess because there's different countries and Africa is a continent and not "that" many African friends to talk to about but maybe they'll say Nigerian but wondering now if it's like Italians say they're Sicilian or nopledon. Still think it's mostly from a prejudice standpoint in a way...

Because if you say "African" everyone would assume you meant people living in Africa, or at least born there.

And there are definitely a lot of people who identify as "Irish American".

O my bad misread what you wrote.. yes but vast majority will say Irish over "black" people saying African American and what the deal with white and black that's a color we need to better define people or not well I guess just is whar it is but I def. Disagree that you maybe here for every ten times an African person says African American you'll here an Irish person say Irish American like twice maybe..

I don't know why you dislike the term "African American". Just saying "African" for people born in America would be confusing. And I think you are wrong when you said people don't say they are "Irish American", because I believe that happens often".

I feel like it stems from pride in your nationality. I basically never hear "blacks" say African. I don't know what your talking about when you say confusing what do you mean? That's they're nationality. Do you mean like I said because if they're Nigerian? Than I disagree because I'd say most identity African as the nationality. But unsure what you meant if you could explain...

Also comparing how often an Irish person says Irish American to how often "blacks" say African American not sure if your serious it's gotta be around 80/20... If that.

They were having a friendly disagreement and I hate to say this but she almost seemed
human in their exchange. To turn that around and make him out to be aggressive is just sick.

Racism has a very simple definition: the activity of oppressing a person or group of people due to their race.
