All (semi-)joking aside, without my Vax Card, I would have to get a Covid test each week in order to teach my weekly after-school chess class. Instead, I just show the office receptionist my Vax Card, and I'm granted admittance into the school building.

I would say to them, "Maybe God will protect you, and maybe He won't." There are many verses in the Bible that relate how being foolish can have bad consequences.

I have many Christian friends who are anti-vax, but I don't recall any of them playing the "God will protect me" card. (But maybe that's just because they don't play cards.

)

Addendum: Some of my anti-vax friends did get Covid, but they all recovered.

As a bona-fide, Bible-thumping religious nut, that doesn't "work" on me at all. Blessings from God typically stem from obedience. There are many verses extolling prudence as a virtue.
