I typically put dollar bills in tip jars rather than add the tip to the credit card bill when I get fast food. But when eating in a restaurant I always put the tip on the credit card bill.

However in casinos I always put my cash tips in the tournament box so at least the dealers have a choice.

I actually am in favor of it because of the way the minimum wage laws work where wait staff can be paid below the minimum wage and sometimes earn less than the minimum wage including tips.

I am typically in favor of raising taxes on the rich (so the deficit can be reduced and we can spend money on things like Obamacare, food stamps, free child care, pre K in all public schools, etc.) and lowering them for working class people.

I doubt they are hiding her. My guess is that it will take some time (probably up until the DNC) for her to create her agenda and policies that she would pursue as President. She failed pretty miserably at this in her run for President (as Biden had done twice before 2020) and will need to come up with a centrist plan on many issues like immigration.

I'm guessing Kamala will have an interpreter in her meetings with Putin. So she will be wanting us to hear what happened and how Putin is treating her. Unlike Trump.

Kamala was a Prosecuting Attorney as Attorney General. There is no way Putin will tear her to pieces.

First of all she isn't a world leader yet. By the time she is a world leader (hopefully) she will have done many interviews. Before she has those interviews she has to look at where she will stand on all issues because you never know what the questions will be.

She is unprepared because until 7/21 there was no way to know that Biden was going to step down and no way to know that she would end up being the replacement candidate. Given how badly she did in 2020 in her attempted run for president it seemed unlikely that she would necessarily be the candidate if Biden stepped down. I had heard that Obama had wanted Mark Kelley to be the candidate. I'm guessing there were many people who wanted Newsome or Whitmer (I was one of those). Especially because Kamala's approval rating had always been about 10% to 15% lower than Bidens (which has been hovering at 37% to 39% for a while).

You can act like she isn't doing interviews now and then when she does my guess is you will pretend that you never said these things or you will never refer to these posts which to you are probably meaningless anyway. Its just a way to get your digs in and to mock her.

Meanwhile every time Trump does an interview he lies repeatedly. About just about everything. Crowd sizes. That he is the author of bills and ideas (most recently that the no taxes for tips policy was his idea). Immigrants and how they are rapists and criminals. That Harris was in charge of the border. I would think that the honesty of a candidate would be important because what they will do as President will make a lot of difference to the world. Legislation? If it’s any of those, can you cite these policy proposals? We had a bill on the table that would have solved many of our problems, but Trump blocked that bill! He wanted to campaign on the problems on the southern border, some of which he contributed to. Title 42 deportations replaced title 8, which made it harder to deport people and give them consequences. Also, he instituted many inhumane policies that had to be overturned, despite inheriting a relatively secure border from Obama who was strongly discouraging people from trying to come over. On top of that, he used his bully pulpit to tell people to come over which I think has been massively damaging to our country. Never before has a former president rooted for America’s downfall so strongly as Trump.

Honestly the fact that you guys went along with sabotaging a border deal should be disqualifying for Republicans.

Despite this, Biden and the Harris admin have been able to bring down border crossings and impose penalties without the Republicans help and without resorting to violating international law like Trump did. If only we could have been able to bring more resources to the immigration courts like what was proposed by a Republican lawmaker.

Furthermore, one of the funny things is that we don’t see any actual policy analysis. No stats on migrants coming in or comparison to that with historical numbers. Just some random rantings about how much better it was under Biden. The problem is that Trump ruined our well functioning immigration system in order to have a political W by looking tough. Meanwhile he lies about the murder rate among illegals and doesn’t do anything to combat narco-terrorism at large so that people don’t feel the need to migrate here.

But here’s the most important part: he doesn’t really talk about deporting illegals. Instead he talks about border policy. He doesn’t actually have a plan to deport illegals, or any numbers to back up his claim about it being the largest effort in American history.

I dare you to compare this RNC platform with the 2012 platform and tell me which one goes into detail on policy. All he says is “I’ll prevent WW3” and “I’ll do the most massive deportation in American history” and “I’ll end inflation”! Where are the actual policy discussions that we should know as the people voting for him? It’s just platitudes and promises with no plan.
