Willing to make a friendly $50 wager Ontario will enact restrictions beyond what is currently in place between Oct 1st and Jan 1st, 2022
I already won a little $50 bet on 2 weeks to flatten the curve when this started, so it's time to double my money here
If you are willing to bet between now and end of April 2022 I will go upto $500
then I said
I would take your side of that wager with the terms you have set, because nearly anything would qualify, including any new form of vaccinated only allowed protocols. Some of the universities and colleges are requiring all people going in person to have proof of vaccination by mid October, so right there that side wins when that goes into effect, since it is not in effect as of today. Many have no class size restrictions, so if the province has a 250 student in person limit put in then that would qualify as well, even if it impacts very few classes.
A simpler way of doing it would be this. Will all the places that give haircuts be mandated to shut down completely again by the province as has happened twice before? I say no they will not.
Then you tossed out wanting odds, and I said then (and it was correct) that the amounts were trivial and pretty much no chance I would remember the details (as was seen) so while I was pretty confident of the no lockdowns for hair salon part I definitely agreed and expected that some types of "policies" or "restrictions" would change over the months, because that is like predicting it will rain somewhere in Canada in the same period of time - my university/college policies went in exactly as I suggested. I just did not see a lockdown for vaccinated people because of case counts on unvaccinated derps happening again, and I still do not. Anyway, at that time I tossed the wager amount to charity just so I did not have to be bothered to remember it. If hair salons do not get shut down then you can choose to do the same or not with a charity of your choice, though that is not a concern of mine.
All the best.
Im not sure what else they could implement now other than mandatory vaccines for kids 5-12
Even in AB, Sask and Ontario there is no rush to remove masks even though cases here are so low.
Very small sample size but we have 11 Omicrom cases but 8 are fully vaccinated . If its as mild as we believe what will be the precautions
