Lol. It’s illegal and an egregious abuse of his office.

It is illegal to use the power of the presidency to investigate political opponents. Your understanding of this is laughable.

The quid pro quo is clearly implied. The Ukrainian president later told people as much. The money was stopped by trump for no legitimate reason and released the day after the whistleblower story.

Amazing to be naive enough to think it all needs to be spelled out directly for it to count. It is shocking that they released this memorandum because it is REALLY bad for Trump.

Surely THIS is the one, boys. I see no way in which this blows up in the dem's faces. Trump's personalized tiny handcuffs are being forged in the fires of UC Berkeley's biomass furnaces as we speak.

Until our Lord and Savior Bernie Sanders takes the oath, all hail interim President Pence. Release the children and make room in the cages for the alphabet people. He's coming.

Can’t wait until the trump re-education camps open up in all the renovated border detention centers in 2021 to house all the trump water carriers.

Sorry, I should've added a /s at the end of that post. I thought it would be obvious.

Being a democrat in 2019 must be absolutely exhausting. It cannot be easy on one's sanity to be triggered 24/7.

Show me where it is a high crime to ask a ally president to investigate potential corruption?
1. Says Ukraine has not been reciprocal to the United States, in effect they owe us:

"The United States has been very good to Ukraine. I wouldn't say that it's reciprocal necessarily because things are happening that are not good but the United States has been very very good to Ukraine."

2. What does he want in return? Two things.

The first is about 2016:
"I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike...the server..."

The second is about 2020:
"The other thing, There's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped to prosecution so if you can look into it."

He asks a foreign country to investigate a political opponent because Ukraine "owes" him.

And what did he just a few days prior? Ordered all aid to the Ukraine withdrawn.

The President of the United States attempted to hold aid hostage until such time as Ukraine "reciprocated" --- and not "reciprocated" to the United States, but to Trump PERSONALLY. He was after dirt on Sleepy Joe Biden (of all people) to assist his 2020 campaign. It is as plain as ****ing day.

At no point in the phone call does Trump mention corruption. Lol.

In fact, the guy who he talked about reinstating (Shokin) was absurdly corrupt. In a country that has been wracked by corruption, being TOO CORRUPT for Ukraine is quite the moniker.

How Trump then enlists a whistleblower to make a big deal out of all this to the media is the most brilliant part of his strategy. Nothing will happen to him. Biden goes down. Warren up to bat. Too left, swings misses. Trump wins in 2020.

So did obama break the law when they got the FISA warrants to spy on trump?

Crowd strike and biden is the corruption. Biden is corrupt, him gettign that prosecutor fired by withholding money was corruption

crowd strike investigating the dnc servers was possible corruption

hes not asking for dirt, just to look into possible corruption, the dirt is out there, biden bragged about getting the prosecutor fired by withholding aid....

The FISA stuff hasn't been released yet but it is looking they lied, that they used the Michael Isikoff yahoo story as back up to the unverified dossier when the Isikoff story was fed to him from Steele. And likely some other stuff surrounding Papadopoulos.

you are really taking large leaps domer. a president asking a ally president to look into criminal activities is not "high crimes or treason"

Hey, thanks. You know, It's a little surprising to see a leftist like you carrying water for the Trump admin's blatant corruption, because we've never seen that happen.

Asking to investigate a political opponent in exchange for congressionally approved monies is.

By the way the whistleblower complaint likely covers more than this one call. Although this one call is extremely damning.

How am I carrying water for anybody? I feel like I've got this situation pretty well analyzed.
My favorite post you made btw on unstuck was where you were getting your side ready for some potentially negative news coming out about Hunter, like it was your job to soften the blow for them.

By uncritically trotting out obviously disingenuous arguments.

PS remember the other day you were telling us this Ukraine stuff wasn't going anywhere? Good times.

Only question at this point is how many Republicans vote to impeach in the Senate. My guess is at least 2, but less than 10.
would snap this up. question is if more than 1 democrat would vote against. ofc, Pelosi wont even get that far so oh well.

Skimmed the transcript. Just replace the country names with city names and you pretty much got a script for a mob movie scene.

Oh it still isn't going anywhere. Perhaps some made for tv hearings and lots of ad revenue but I said that in the beginning.

Mob movies must be terribly confusing for some of the people here.
