I hope nobody gets hurt, but I do hope the police take a harder line on rioters and looters. By the way, I rode my bike through a protest this past weekend and it was around 60% white - I would hope if they all started looting and rioting the police would take a very hard line on them to protest all the people they are hurting.

They didn’t want to see NFL players take a knee, and they don’t want people safely protesting in front of the White House. Their little hearts leapt with joy when Trump used the military and police to violently attack thousands of peaceful protesters yesterday. All so he could walk down the street acting like a tough guy. Instead it was another display of extreme cowardice by the president. Which he then followed up by walling in the White House.

We've seen the evolution of the groups over time. 2008 libertarians became 2010 tea partiers became 2016 die-hard Trumpers. Not all of them, some are never-Trumpers, but there's plenty of true believers in that group, including ~all of the ones not named Justin Amash that got elected to Congress.
