Not that Trump would be above seeking a third term, but I don't think there's anything there to fear. Ambitious Republicans are going to start heading to Iowa as soon as the election is over, regardless of result. Even in the event that Trump wins, they're not going to sit around waiting to see if he's going to attempt to trample the Constitution before they dare to throw their hats in the ring. They're also certainly not going to clear the field for Pence.
In the event of a two-term President Trump, once other Republicans quickly start declaring 2024 intentions, I think they mostly crowd out any notion of "wait a minute, actually I'm not going anywhere."
The path for a third term for Trump and a 4th is actually not that complicated and certainly nothing that is beyond Trump's ethics.
For term 3, if Trump remains popular and firmly in charge of his party, which I do think he would solidify if he gets term 2, what Trump could do is have Ivanka run for POTUS with Trump as her VP.
Donald would then hint (wink, wink) that 'who knows, maybe Ivanka gets sick, early in her first term and steps down and I end up serving as POTUS' (wink, wink)'.
That is an easy and Constitutional path to having a 3rd and 4th term.
