I made my own Ben Garrison cartoon. I wonder if the Trumpers, firstly would notice, and whether they'd fully support it?

Honesty gl with the election next week. World luvs to laugh at america lately but it is the military wing of the planet, so if you actually crumble you won't hesitate taking the world down with you. So basically don't rush your northern border with all your guns and don't collapse ffs. You're the guy who gets kicked out of the club and then shoots up the place to ruin everyone's night. So good luck next week

This whole narrative is starting to feel like it can only end like the end of the Planet of the Apes (with a sprinkling of idiocracy).

6 Days left 30 percent turnout already. This may be highest election turnout in history.

I will go out on a limb and suggest the turnout is not being driven by the hacked Hunter emails that were fake left at a rando computer repair shop.

It's better for democracy if Republicans lose badly. We can worry about restoring balance 2 years from now. We can never let Teaparty/Trumpian R's take over our democracy ever again

They're also certainly not going to clear the field for Pence.

In the event of a two-term President Trump, once other Republicans quickly start declaring 2024 intentions, I think they mostly crowd out any notion of "wait a minute, actually I'm not going anywhere."
The path for a third term for Trump and a 4th is actually not that complicated and certainly nothing that is beyond Trump's ethics.

For term 3, if Trump remains popular and firmly in charge of his party, which I do think he would solidify if he gets term 2, what Trump could do is have Ivanka run for POTUS with Trump as her VP.

Donald would then hint (wink, wink) that 'who knows, maybe Ivanka gets sick, early in her first term and steps down and I end up serving as POTUS' (wink, wink)'.

That is an easy and Constitutional path to having a 3rd and 4th term.

My Facebook feed is going crazy this morning about how the MSM is totally ignoring Bobulinski and his receipts. I'm in semi-rural NC, so my feed is about 85% Trumpers.

Constitution has "But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."

Hmmm. I take that back then.

I was wrongly extrapolating.

As a for instance if Biden was to step down soon after the election due to illness or other (the GOP boogeyman scenario) then Harris would serve as POTUS for the remainder of the term. And even if that was 4 year minus one day, it would not impact her eligibility to run, in the following 2 elections for POTUS and thus back dooring into 3 terms.

I assumed (wrongly) they could do the same but on the back end.

My bad. Thanks for the clarity.

The Constitution will be worthless if Trump and the Republicans steal a second election.
