Seems somewhat aggressive-adjacent, and not very woke at all. By the way, I just checked with yours, and she concurs.

Hey JB, how come the government is allowing twitter to reinstate the account of Alex Jones even though they wouldn’t let his views be expressed by ChatGPT?

Are you trying to suggest there isn't countless examples of government censorship of legit science and experts as well as political based censorship against trump?

If thats not your point I'm not sure I understand what it is.

My point was what I wrote, not this non sequitur.

You want me to take this question at face value and answer why the gov is allowing alex jones on twitter even though the won't let his view be expressed by chatGPT?

Where did you get the idea that his views are censored on chatGTP?

How come this is worth your time?

Well since this thread started I've said every terrible thing I could think of to it just to prove some points.

The uk article is concerning tho...but maybe I could just cite this thread as my justification/motive and get a pass...?

Judge Ikram, who dismissed the claim that the WhatsApp group was private and the messages were not intended to be made public, told the former officers they "ought to have known, and it is difficult for me to accept that you did not know, that these were racist posts".

Sure but I think the law is on the right lines and AI is coming under increasing scrutiny. We can disagree.

USA will as per usual, trail behind dragging it's constitution like a ball and chain. So there it's up to market forces.

Every horrible thing you can think of I have said, and mixed together, and adding kittens.

I hate midget transgender kittens. Stuff like that.

Its not true, but I said it. Lots.

I think you have said here you support the limitation of ...AI

but also what we are allowed to say to it?

How would you even know if a kitten is trans? That makes no sense. And "midget" is badly outmoded terminology.

I dont think we can limit it. It would also be a very grave mistake to try imo.

We can and should regulate it's use imo. Thats use includes it's interaction with humans.

as much as post #270 should've been the closing post in this thread, i have to ask: if chatgpt broke jb's brain this quickly, what decimation will it leave in its wake when we look back in time?

notable how AI interaction has become a perfect defense for psychopathy and other phenomena:

"guys, i told chatGPT i hate all races besides aryans and only people with light skin tones should be allowed into the kingdom of heaven. also john nash on principle. should this be allowed?"

if backlash, pretend this was a case study in the dangers of ChatGPT. if some level of support, smile smugly and know you're not alone.
