Well, in all 3 cases the posters were ultimately banned for engaging in a behavior where WN told them repeatedly to stop and they didn’t. That is probably more important to the story than the penultimate post that caused the banning.

Trolly wants FlyWf unbanned because FlyWf was undoubtedly the WOAT and Trolly just likes to throw gasoline on dumpster fires.

Fly must've been banned while I was away for a while, but given the level of awful that came out of him on a daily basis, I can't imagine what banworthy escalation looked like. What'd he finally get tossed for?

FlyWf and "solid contributor" go together like wookie and "never been pegged while wearing a furry suit." Just absurd and flies in the face of reality.

I'm taking the hint that you disagree with me about a particular poster's level of contribution. While you may be correct, I feel that erring on the safe side towards allowing posters a fresh start may be the right decision. This is the genesis for all of us.

Like I can't believe any rational person would be discussing this, but If you are actually more concerned about the politeness than the content and accuracy of posts (including racism. sexism, etc. in high volume), than definitely free juan valdez and ToothSayer and don't even consider Fly. In other words if the standard is truly going to be "I don't give a darn about what you say....only in how you say it."
