With Joe, I just see him as the right's equivalent of trolly. Take what you want from that. Both poster's posting could be ignored and you wouldn't know the difference in the discussion being had.

Sure, if you take away all the good parts of Trolly's posts and add a bunch of bad ones, and shave off maybe 50 IQ points, they're virtually indistinguishable.

Guys, I am not suggesting that Luckbox's sole interest in the world is conspiracies. I am suggesting that, in an unmoderated politics forum, Luckbox would turn every thread in which he participated into a conspiracy thread.

I'm quite sure he is capable of discussing puzzles in POG or what to stream on Netflix in OOT. We all have interests outside of politics.

But we have plenty of evidence that he mostly wants to talk about conspiracies in this forum. The only reason he didn't talk about them incessantly was because well named didn't allow it and LB is a polite guy who was willing to abide by the guardrails that well named established.

I'm not sure how much you want to go into it (especially right now), but I'd be interested in hearing if this experience has made any change to your views.

It's an interesting question. I'd have to think about it, and I haven't had time yet. I feel like the impact of this experience has been more personal (or at least more local to 2+2) and less political. I'm not sure it's had any profound impact on my basic philosophy or preferences. I guess maybe I've become more pessimistic about some things.
