I like you, Trolly!

Please post more often.

Wouldn't decriminalized be more appropriate? Though I do find it mildly interesting a christian conservative would choose the word legal with everything that implies

Could this thread please be moved to RGT?

Some of this same stuff is bring discussed in a thread over there.

Politics not being discussed in this thread.

Thanks.

Religion has a significant impact on the contemporary political landscape. I vote no.

I'm fine with a Politics and Religion thread. This thread stopped being about politics about a week ago.

It is currently overlapping a thread in RGT.

I'll discuss the politics stuff in this thread and the apologetics stuff in the other thread.

So I also vote "No."

This thread is temporary, I have sent a PM to the other moderators for a final verdict on these debates. But in the meantime, theology-specific debate goes here. Arguments more related to religion's role in politics / secularity etc. are fine in the other threads.

And yes, the comb used to move posts here was perhaps not the best one. But there was a lot of posts to move.

Why not merge it with the "religion and science" thread? It's basically the same thread.

Not Christian, but I think it is brilliant. For a hat trick he now needs to let priests marry.

Scale: 1

I don't care about his opinion on anything.

Do you feel that he is a true Christian and just misguided or is he likely undercover?

Maybe saved, definitely misguided and/or undercover.

with technology advancing so rapidly, anything seem possible...
i wonder if God would end up being an extremely advanced AI , if christian would hold the same value of the bible or would switch to a more " scientific realism "afterwards....

Watching the Star Wars movies in release order is an unusual way to do it since the timelines get a little muddled, but each to their own. Here's how to watch the Star Wars movies in release order, going back 43 years to A New Hope.

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977)
Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983)
Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999)
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002)
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005)
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015)
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)
Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (2017)
Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)

itt we learn lagtight is better than pope francis and he needs a safe space in RGT.

Theology containment thread has been merged into this one.

The accidental OP of this thread (a random post of mine excised from a different thread) is certainly germane to the present discussion.

Also, did I forget to mention WN gave me mod rights on this thread? Muahahahahahha.

Spoiler:
Kidding, kidding!

Good for the pope but he is pretty much pulling down the whole church.

We weren't even allowed to think of boobies.

lol

Are they really suggesting that the pope is some sort of plant ?

He was elected by his peers under the guidance of the Holy Spirit just like the last pope. Right ?

Do they believe in the process or only in what suits them ?

WTF ?

I get being mad that you wasted your youth being virtuous but that reaction is damned amusing to me.

I think they meant undercover h0mo (lol filter) because he approves of civil unions? Could be mistaken, though.
