I see you've met Wetwork.
(And as far as the pro-life guys paying for abortions--I have to imagine there have been quite a few pro-choice rapists out there).

Not uncommon for a boyfriend to impregnate his girlfriend, and then intimate her to get an abortion.

Whichever group realizes that "intelligence" can't be reduced to a numeric value.

One of my favourite quotes:
"An IQ test measures your ability to take an IQ test."

This is the problem , your using terms like unborn baby which is inexact !
A fetus is different than a baby which you don’t agree .
At this point nothing can be done , your discussing different value terms as if they were equal which they aren’t ...

At the end your imposing a religious view about life on others .
I didn’t think the United States was a theocracy but a democracy !

Pretty much everyone agrees that a fetus (or even a few day old joey that has crawled out of its mother's vagina and into its pouch) is life. That's not the debate. The debate is whether or not that life has value or should be considered a person.

I reject that premise. Having been through an abortion with my ex, the cluster of cells that she passed was most certainly not what I would consider "life".

According to dictionary dot com, a fetus can be referred to as a baby.

So, there is no problem, in my opinion.

Baby and fetus arent "value terms." Fetuses are a subset of babies.

All laws, by their nature, are "imposing a view". Laws allowing unborn humans to be killed in the womb are "imposing a view" on unborn humans.

Keeping abortionists as far away as possible from unborn babies is an even better thing, in my opinion.

You have a weird view of life in that case that is likely not based on much biology.

That you yourself dont "consider it" life, doesnt mean that it isnt life.

To keep perspective, which you try to distort here, pretty much everyone would agree the snot you blow out your nose is life by that definition. Also, the majority of people support abortion rights. Like you do here, the main arguments by people that are anti abortion rights involve bad-faith conflation of terminology to trigger emotions by implying some unscientific value.

Are there living cells in snot? I suppose there are. But I don't think we can call the snot itself life. So no, I don't think everyone would agree.

At this point I usually introduce my patented, sealed fingernail to baby artificial womb.

Once loaded and switched on, that fingernail be a darned unborn baby

Hi, Max. If i ever use a word in a manner inconsistent with a dictionary definition of that word, please let me know and i will use a different word.

Triggering emotions can be a good thing. Thats an important part of progress in any area of life. (It can also be an important part of regress, of course.)

How about we get Max to define what life is? What is it?
And the deal with snot is that it contains life. That doesn't make it life, which is your assertion

Hitler fostered a hatred of Jews by instilling in many Germans that Jews were a lower-form of human.

Slavery in America was condoned in part by convincing people that Blacks werent fully people.

Similarly, abortion is condoned by many because a fetus "isnt really a human life."

I think it's clear to you what I am saying. You choose to continue using contextually non-standard words that may be definitionally correct. It is a bad-faith form of deception you allow yourself to use because it favors your position.

So we can incinerate the entire discharge and no "life" has been "killed"? Yeah, try ****ing harder.

Pretty much ALL of the anti-abortion-rights arguments are based in deception.

What?
https://www.healthline.com/health/wh...snot-come-from
1. You claimed snot is life.
2. I claimed snot contains life but isn't life itself.
3. You claim that I think if we incinerated snot no life would be killed and then told me to try harder
4. I did not claim that however.
5. I know discussion is hard for you.

Not a biologist but I'm also not stupid so I think a good starting point for a definition of life is cells or groups of cells that have the ability to replicate themselves. Snot and fingernails do not have that ability. Fetuses and joeys do.

Here is luckbox yet again doing everything in his expert in linguistics power to troll and derail a discussion. First he agrees there are living cells in snot and then he starts the gymnastics about what is life, is snot itself life, blah blah blah.

You are the one who brought up snot. Why can't you discuss things like a rational person Max? Do you still think snot is life or do you concede that your analogy was bad?
1. Says snot is life.
2. Gets pushback.
3. Claims I'm trying to derail.
4. Just stop being dumb and this will go smoother.
