Lots of self-congratulatory "we did it guize" posturing to come. Actually, not posturing, because most of them will genuinely believe that if not for their jackassery, mandates were going to be here forever, because this is all about Control and The Great Reset, blah blah blah.

These blockades are ****ing maddening. I'm as big a support of the right to peaceful assembly as you will find. I'm even a supporter of measured civil disobedience. But this is a ****ing siege.

Toronto police have been on absolute point closing exactly the right streets to make sure queen's park isn't ottawa 2.0. Ditto here in Victoria where everything appears mostly open except you actually can't circle the parliament during the throne speech as was being threatened due to some very surgical closures by police. But even ottawa is utterly dwarfed by forcing border closures.

Lozen, this next story is an important one for you. Let's rewind a bit. Recall when the conservative caucus refused to acknowledge that climate change was a real thing? This after a feckless O'Toole begged and pleaded for them to vote that it was? And then O'Toole concocted a totally fake "price on carbon" plan that was much smaller and less effective and functionally unworkable than Trudeau's? And then lost the election?
