I've noticed the Liberals are now ahead in all major polls and Trudeau hasn't even started to campaign yet...i'd be shocked if they lost the election now.

Just shows just how incompetent Conservatives are.

I know the campaign hasn't really started but man it looks the Conservatives blew it.

They railed on SNC so long and when it turned out to be nothing burger they are in second place and now it seems the Liberals are really stepping on the gas.

Scheer just appears to weak he "bumped" into Justin Trudeau at a parade telling him to "stop lying to Canadians" and Trudeau just laughed in his face

Pretty torn and not sure what I'm going to do. I think Bernier is the better candidate but don't want to take a vote away from Scheer and have Trudeau win.

I really cant blame Trudeau for doing this. Max will appeal to the extreme right especially the hard right Quebecers

Other than legalize Pot what campaign promise has he kept?

Huh? I mean his biggest 2015 campaign plank is the tax reform plank that saw a drop in middle class income taxes (and the new 200k+ bracket), which is done, and the carbon tax which is not done but clearly a government priority.

Prob a tactic from whoever leaked the photo to make him seem darker. The apology from Trudeau suggested he was wearing brown face. Does this make it better, worse or the same?

Pretty sure everyone would have the same answer to that question regardless of which side they stand on the issue.

I think this will hurt Trudeau a bit, but he got out on front of it and apologized right away and made no excuses, unlike Andrew Scheer who will not say sorry for his homophobic remarks.

Also Scheer said a couple days ago that as long as you say you are sorry you are ok, so it kind of takes out the bite on their future attacks for this...I mean they will still attack him for this of course.

It is a yearbook photo, and even in 2001 it was quite a bit more expensive to print a book with colour photos than black and white. Guess whoever has the original (likely in colour) can auction it off as a collectible.

The media should be independent from the government, for obvious reasons. Furthermore, what you said isn't true. They stand to gain a significant tax break.
