God Bless America! I could see some of these declining slightly, but I'll be absolutely stunned if the US falls below number 1 in any of them (besides covid cases) under a Biden administration.

EDIT: Checked google. Estimated Uighurs in camps was one million.
NK may be as well with their labor camps. But the real response should be "Is that better?"

No one (well no one here) is saying Biden wasn't a competent speaker while VP.
LOL at the person who said "Biden has hundreds of hours on camera and hasn't done anything wrong."

Remember when he challenged a voter to a push up contest? I do.
Not surprisingly, I have low expectations of this administration. I know the platform was fairly progressive, but considering a lot of it was opposed by Biden in the primary, I have zero expectation he's gonna work hard on that stuff.
What I'm gonna be laser focused are the things he can do with requiring congressional approval (which will be the excuse for a lot of inaction), particularly with regard to climate change. There have been multiple stories about what Biden can do about climate change, so let's summarize the main points

- Biden has said he would stop leasing any new oil and gas rights on federal land raise fuel economy standards for cars and trucks to speed up a transition to electric vehicles.
- rejoin the Paris climate agreement .
- Requiring aggressive methane pollution limits for new oil and gas operations.
- Using the federal government procurement system — which spends $500 billion every year — to drive toward 100 percent clean energy and zero-emissions vehicles.
- Ensuring that all US government installations, buildings, and facilities are more efficient and climate-ready, harnessing the purchasing power and supply chains to drive innovation.
- Reducing greenhouse gas emissions from transportation — the fastest growing source of US climate pollution — by preserving and implementing the existing Clean Air Act,
- Doubling down on the liquid fuels of the future,
- Saving consumers money and reducing emissions through new, aggressive appliance and building efficiency standards.
- Committing that every federal infrastructure investment should reduce climate pollution,
- Requiring public companies to disclose climate risks and the greenhouse gas emissions in their operations and supply chains.
- Protecting biodiversity, slowing extinction rates and helping leverage natural climate solutions by conserving 30 percent of America’s lands and waters by 2030.
- Protecting America’s natural treasures by permanently protecting the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge
I expect to check back and see what progress has been made on these issues. Given that these fall within presidential powers there's no reason they can't be pursued within his first six months.
