Yeah it's becoming clearer everyday to the American public that Bernie would make a better President, that he has a greater chance at beating Trump and that his policies are something America has needed to start moving towards a long time ago.

If Joe dropped out, leaving Bernie as the nominee, liberal MSM could no longer ignore his leadership to save face for Joe during this global crisis, and would allow Bernie to put greater pressure on both the Democratic and Republican leadership to make decisions that benefit the American people. I don't like being in lockdown as much as anyone, and we don't have to either be in lockdown or kill off 2 million people, it's a false choice and there's a better path forward.

I guess I just don't get rehashing the primary fight or continuing to insist that Bernie would have been a better President now that the nomination is all but over. The voters have made their choice.

Is there any way the Democrats can prevent Biden from being the nominee at the convention and insert their own nominee instead (ie Bloomberg, Klobuchar, Hillary)? I'm pretty sure they are riding with Biden but if he were to deteriorate further you can only assume there would be an attempt to remove him.

I've given this thought, and believe it would be a MASSIVE move if they can pull it off.

The RW machine invested everything they had in screaming "Socialism!" if Bernie won, and pushed him to the top as much as possible. That flopped.

Trump got himself impeached over doing the same thing with Hunter, while the machine downplayed his father's chances. And after Impeachment died, they moved onto telling everybody to ignore the braindead idiot.

Now Trump has the only (coronavirus-splattered) mic in town, and he & Fox & GOP moved left to become the "crisis heroes the country needs."

But if D leaders were able to declare Biden's mental health in too much decline and pivot (the later the better) to someone the machine hasn't prepared for, it might just energize the planet. The biggest problem would be how to execute it. Disenfranchising voters for the sake of the country and planet might not be seen as too big of a negative from voters who would largely be voting blue anyway.
