Right now, we need VP Biden, we need him to step down and drop out so Bernie sanders can save this country from this global crisis just like FDR.

A thread to debate the efficacy of a Joe Biden Presidency in the midst of a global pandemic and impending Great Recession/Depression.

Where is Joe Biden? Can he beat Trump and is he even trying to? What would a Joe Biden Presidency look like in these times? Where is he and why isn't he leading?

Why isn't Biden leading? He's not even in elected office right now.

Even for salty, bitter Berne Bros., it is a stretch to complain that a guy not in office is not leading the country.

How is this a stretch? Have you been living under a rock? This is what exponential growth looks like. The debate was literally 4 days ago and the last primary was 3, look at how much the world has changed since then. And this is only the beginning, things are going to get much much worse in terms of deaths, overburdened hospitals, and economic crisis. Joe needs to address the nation almost on a daily basis as new information comes in. Trump is winning in leadership, even if that ship is headed toward the bottom of the ocean, at least it's something.

This is what real leadership looks like. If Senator Sanders is able to find the time to address the nation on the economic and health crisis while simultaneously performing his senatorial duties, in addition to fighting against bureaucratic, insider-trading-ass, corrupt politicians, why can't Biden find time to address the nation too?

Bernie is currently using his millions of grassroots connections to look for donations to give to charities helping corona victims.

he is also using his grassrroots connections to organize phone calls to Conress people to lobby for passing bills which will help the citizenry.

he is not asking for votes or for electoral help. its truly amazing. I am not a Bernie culter and while I like the guy I have never viewed him at all close to how Ron Paulsters did, it is quite clear that he is a truly amazing person nad I may have been wrong about hte guy.

Trump is not even bottom 3 if you look at the last 3 presidents.

Exactly, and if he thinks he can just hide himself while the entire world is in crisis, he’s in for a rude awakening. Bernie doesn’t rest.

Imagine someone vinivici’s age supporting Biden. Someone must have dropped him one too many times as a child, or maybe he’s been gargling clorox his entire life.

How's that working out? The approval of Trump's handling of the covid-19 crisis has improved by double digits in recent days while people all over the internet from both the left and the right are asking "Where's Joe?"

This is why you shouldn't allow the olds to decide your primary winner. The olds defied all logic by selecting John McCain in 2008, and they somehow managed to outdue themselves x10 in 2020.
