Even still, do I care about a car getting broken into or some property damage? When weighed against cold blooded police murder, no, no I do not.

There are over 180k police departments who have over 300 million interactions every year so how does that lead to the conclusion that the police shoot willy nilly?

I think we can all put our big boy trousers on and agree that prising the megaphone from an antagonistic and no doubt insufferable street preacher, or smashing a car window, or grabbing and running away with someone's american flag, do not rise to the level of crime the right wing would absolutely love to see taking place. As much as it eats you up inside not to be able to scream 'Look! I told you so'. There are of course crimes that would be awful to see, like murder, rape etc (that police partake in on the reg incidentally), but it is just not happening.

Now if this were a right wing event, given their history, we would no doubt be seeing those things, and that is no doubt fueling the craven desire to see it happening here, but all it does is highlight another fundamental difference between both sides.
