So what is Libertarian about your views?

As far as I can infer, from reading your commentary on the posts of others, you are down the line GOP in everything but name.

Honest question. I think a lagtight vs the world thread would be interesting.

Mayor Ras Baraka of Newark, N.J., called defunding the police a “bourgeois liberal” solution for addressing systemic racism.

Marxist countries had much smaller police forces.

1. I'm basically an isolationist. We should not interfere in the affairs of other countries.

2. I would abolish the Income Tax.

3. I am basically a "protectionist.". I favor relatively high tariffs.

4. I think that the prison population should be reduced by at least 80%

I guess that's a start...

This is completely flying under the radar (for obvious reasons) but some scary domestic terrorism/attempted mass murder happened in Seattle a couple nights ago. Some attempted murderers (aka mostly peaceful protesters) started a fire outside a police precinct while simultaneously using quick dry cement to attempt to lock people inside the building in.

Officers were able to kick the door open despite the cement and put out the fire. But damn.

But what about all the protesters who aren't actively trying to murder a few dozen cops?

Is that the same cement they used in those deadly milkshakes?

Unlike the mafia, antifa is very incompetent when it comes to using cement.

In fairness I don't think Antifa really is trying to kill cops, although I think most of them wouldn't be too heartbroken if this happened incidentally. Their goal is to keep pushing the envelope until they provoke a response that they can portray as disproportionate to use as leverage. And the leftist MSM and Democratic Party has been very accommodating towards this for the past few months.

Although I will say in the last couple weeks or so the media and D Party have noticeably started to push back agains the Antifa narratives. I think a lot of this has to do with Antifa and the D Party/MSM having different agendas.

Antifa really is trying to destroy civilization with some utopian vision something better will rise from the ashes. The D Party/MSM is just trying to beat Donald Trump in November.

It will be interesting to see how Antifa responds to this. Will they just go away when they realize they aren't being supported, or do they actually start to push things farther (like blocking doorways to buildings while starting major fires outside buildings) in an attempt to provoke a major response?

Wow out to lunch man. The Dems are only turning due to the horrible polling in the last two weeks.

Also, numerous known Antifa literally have called for killing of cops on their social media accounts.
