Based on the analysis of 100 years worth of data from the Social Security Administration's (SSA) Baby Names database, the estimated population of people named JAMAL is 29,538.

It's shocking and unexpected to see - so unexpected - but what do you know: itscryinginvegas is lying about Wookie lying about itslyinginvegas' lying.

Whatever...change the context of the conversation to make it mean whatever you want it to mean. It's interesting you put the quotations on something that was never said, and call other people liars.

Right, exactly, the context is very important. And the context is about where they're getting the info that 60% of "Jamal"s are supposedly white.

In particular, there's multiple facts on the page that they specifically cite as coming from the Social Security Administration database - like what you cited about the number of Jamals. You know what isn't cited as coming from the SSA? Their race data.

Like Wookie said, you lied. Their methodology for getting that data is not pulling it from the SSA; you lied and said it was. And like I said, you lied about him lying about you lying.

My paraphrase of the conversation is not a "fake quote". A fake quote would be putting it in a quote box attributed to your name and changing the words you wrote. Here are the exact words you wrote, if you'd prefer that, since you still look exactly as dumb:

Like you said, context is important. And the context of this was about the racial connotations of "Jamal", not how many of them there are in the United States.

And in that context, you said the methodology of mynamestats.com is to use SSA data.

That is a lie. They do not get racial data from the SSA.

You. Are. A. Liar. And like a true narcissist, you're incapable of admitting it.

So perfect.

Now who's deflecting? You realized you did lie about mynamestats.com and the SSA, so you're furiously backtracking as quickly as possible to attack your own paper again!

LOL. This is too much fun.

You fail to realize your boy deliberately manipulated what I said. His question made no sense other than where they got their data, based on what the website said, they got it from the SSA. Your fake quote was not the context, and could not be the context, because before he asked the question I made clear there is no rigorous testing.

Many Americans are ignorant about a diversity of subcultures. In particular, many consider many muslim names as typically black. For example Muhammad.

You: "As the paper states, these names have not been rigorously tested using well-developed methodology, including that survey you are clinging to."
Wookie: "What is the more rigorous methodology of mynamestats.com?"
You: "Social Security records, backed up by many sources."

Reality: they did not get the data you were citing from Social Security records. Literally the only thing you had quoted from mynamestats.com at that time was their race data, and when asked what their methodology was, you lied and said Social Security.

Tail got caught in a lie and he's trying furiously to distance himself from it. Dance, monkey, dance!

I mean, I quote a blurb from the website indictinating they got their data from SSA and Goofy wants to pretend it does not say that. As if they don't use the SSA in the methodology.

Why are you citing this as some kind of rebuttal? That did not come from the page you linked on mynamestats.com. Your buddies at mynamestats.com think Jamal is actually the 1829th most popular name!

LOL, lying again! Keep dancing!

Hint: Jamal is an Arabic name, they don't classify arabic/muslim names....which means they are likely classifying arab folks as white.

What? Your entire argument is based on a quote you made up....you made it up and want to pretend that was the context.

It's not surprising you side with the person who literally made up a quote, then lied about not making that quote up, repeatedly. When you have to make **** up, when it's clear what MrWookie said, it gives away the game. He literally got caught lying about what was said.

You must mean this quote below, that you bolded for emphasis:

I like to think as a nonpartisan finder of fact, much like you - we're birds of a feather like that. I searched far and wide to see if I could find some evidence for goofy's assertion. It took a while, but I think I dug up something relevant from *checks notes* ~20 posts prior:

The problem you have is, I specifically stated there is no rigorous testing, which makes MrWookies question bullshit to begin with. It's clear the website uses SSA data. To claim that I'm lying about the website using that data in their methodology for their stats is just nonsense, when the website explicitly states they use SSA data. Trying to paint his question as to pertaining to one specific stat, ignores the context of him specifically stating the website, not any particular stat.

You all can pretend you got a big gotcha here, he specifically said the website, not a specific stat, and they do use SSA data.

Ah, I see, the problem I have is that you didn't say the thing you meant to say, but you said a different thing instead, the proceeded to get upset that other people were falsely attributing to you the thing that you said. As a neutral, non-partisan, disinterested arbiter of fact here, I'm going to go ahead and declare your argument, to put it mildly, unpersuasive.

Does the website use SSA data in their stats?

The answer is yes.

So, it's correct to say the website uses SSA in their methodology.

No idea, and it's totally irrelevant to the point I'm making, which is that you said something, then claimed that you didn't say that thing and that other people were making up quotes from you.
