This is the guy that think he "shuts people down" (seriously, I've seen him claim this MORE THAN ONCE, that he SHUTS PEOPLE DOWN) by responding to a thoughtful post with some barely tangentially related one-liner troll question, and then declaring victory when the OP responds with something like, "That has nothing to do with anything I'm talking about. Are you OK?"

He made another mess of a politics forum over at UP by insisting on stamping his ignorant world view onto everyone who disagreed with him via bans. In the end he was demodded, stood for re-election twice and was rejected both times. Some people never learn. What a tool.

I has my issues with wookie to put it very mildly but I aways, and will again, defend him because he was also a very good mod in many ways. P was a damn good forum for a long time.

We all know this to be false. The politics forum now is much more balanced. He also did a good job at denigrating you even though that two state solution (in this case the two political forums) was this site's attempt to bring more balanced political discussion for the whole site. How this forum has become just shows all we needed was one fair minded mod (or a couple) and politics discussion can thrive in the one forum and I know you will also give a lot of praise to the work of WellNamed to get that ball rolling and that includes the difficult work being the last mod appointed to the alternative politics forum in this site.
