I watched this movie yesterday. Pretty interesting as I didn't know there are cargo trucks going over ice, frozen oceans and rivers. Also interesting because one of my fav actors liam neeson, is throwing Oxis on the floor in front of a doctor and says "kiss my Irish ass!!" At the beginning (The doc wants to put his brother on opiods and looks pretty defeated)

I keep in contact with a friend who was an "ice road trucker" in Canada.

I believe he only made a couple trips for the whole year but there was some seniority at his work. The pay helped to make up for time not driving which is great if that situation works well. The job was legit dangerous - too dangerous, from what I was told. I also hear more drivers than ever want to do it now.

That's incredible, yeah they say it's a kamikaze mission a real gamble with your life. Very well paid of course then. Who would want to take such a gamble, It's rare.

The movie is decent, watchable average on imbd. Not that it knocked me off my feet, entertaining yes, In case you're wondering how the movie was. The acting is average. (Liam is always great imo. I've seen all if his movies now I think.)
The plot also, but the whole subject is new and amazing. I never knew this. Thought they would take planes for such routes. But I guess too heavy loads or something or destination without airports are the deal. The problem is nobody can really rescue you when things go wrong just your teammates. If they are also in trouble then you're on your own. They get 200k shared by 3 people in the movie. That's for one trip.

Couple Country Finds over the year I love

Lozen, I like country too, but am not so familiar with it. Leanne rhymes is all I know I guess. A tiny bit of other ones. The ones that were in the charts I guess. There was few country dudes and bands I liked. What was that singers name that always used to sing star sprankled bannar and amazing grace? She did it in big halftime shows like 10 or 15 years ago. At Superbowls? Not Celine Dion, but blonde too. Sky? Sugar, vanilla or something with s I think. I can't find her. She might have been an country star. She I liked listening to.
