Ya, negotiate with the guy who blew the **** out of Grozny, invaded Georgia, and already invaded the same country 8 years ago. Because Putin's really gonna stop short of trying to rebuild the empire.

Lol, the 30 or so progressives were smart enough to tuck tail and run from this garbage. But here you are blathering the same banal crap.

Because in politics you never EVER have to negotiate with evil minions. It's all good guys all the time! The west never negotiates with bad guys. You're a velcro shoes kinda guy right? Laces seem tough

Ukraine will keep kicking those drunks back then go for Crimea then gg

you wont starve to death and no one that you know will face even the slightest inconvenience. assuming you live in USA or whatever. if not then disregard.

but thats the point.

an entire generation of liberals are absolutely foaming at the mouth to kill Russians and take over their country bc the media told them to. it reminds me of the Iraq War insanity but its way worse bc half the people jerking off over orcs getting killed by drones in twitter videos marched in the Iraq War protests.

flawless victory for propaganda. there will never be dissent again.

This take is pretty close to insane. Who are these people foaming at the mouth to kill Russians? I haven't seen evidence of anyone being happy about this war. Care to show them to me?

Of course, I don't get my news analysis from reddit and twitter.

Can you point me to the liberal, or the liberal media news site, that is talking about taking over Russia?

ask lockhead martin and rheinmetall if they are happy or not. they are the big players who move the needle. not your joe schmoe on the streets.

finland is also not so unhappy about oil exports.

follow the money, or the oil.

Defense contractors are not "an entire generation of liberals".

However, this forum has mostly liberals, and I don't remember seeing anyone say they are happy about the war.

You're being mocked because of your ridiculous sarcastic comments which were mocking others in this thread, who mostly would also like the war to end, but without appeasing a ruthless dictator. What did you expect?

Celebrating the deaths of Russian soldiers is inhumane. : TrueUnpopularOpinion (reddit.com)

I think victor is refering to the shipment of weapons, as everyone is calling for that. More weapons = more death. I had a long argument with cuepee here about this. Feel no need to repeat it.

Yeah because it's a well known fact america doesn't work with dictators. I'm all for nuclear war instead of negotiations. Good plan!

I love how just the mention of negotiating means I'm a Russian shill or something. Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right

Again you're just making sarcastic comments. If you want to discuss a plan you have, feel free to put it out there and maybe we'll like it. These posts of yours aren't even good for a discussion, all they're good for is return mocking.

Also, of course the US has often worked with dictators. That doesn't mean we on the forum think it's a good idea. And even if we thought it was a good idea in the past, it doesn't mean we think it's a good idea this time. Time for you to start with the convincing.

More weapons does not necessarily mean more deaths. But it might exchange some deaths on the side of the attacked country for those in the side of the attacker.

Prolong the war in Ukraine vs Allow Putin to bring back the Russian Empire / USSR.

Most people think the first choice is the lesser of two evils.

What country are you in anyway, Germany? If Russian soldiers were invading Germany, what would you support, prolonging the war or letting them take over your country?

It would seem fair to let them have the eastern part I mean they had that for years and things were stable. Isn't it rightfully part of the Eastern Bloc?

Oh the russian empire! Oh Oh Oh, you know what its always the same story. You know for how long this goes now? For forever. You are so much better we are so much better, I dont believe anything anymore. We are always getting served lies, you know that? War after war after war. Cool story, bro... seriously it gets old. But now its different, right? yeah right... duh

maybe now its really different. But if you are any good at pattern recognition, history tells a different story... this is always going on, was, and will be. War is a business, the biggest business in the world. This will never stop. And somehow everytime its, now its different.

Noam Chomsky is a joke. Even his linguistics ideas were mostly crazy, and that's the only topic he has any credentials in. Citing him for anything is just another strike against the point trying to be made.
