I cannot see how Mike does not lose those lawsuits and get the maximum penalty possible of 'Billions' which will bankrupt him as they 'real' damages to those companies is massive and demonstrable.

I would not be surprised if they both have to close down regardless after just due to jurisdictions not wanting to use them to avoid any of the allegations of 'rigged', no matter how specious.

This should probably be in the Riggie Thread or Trump thread (I think) and I fear the concerns here may prove very prescient.

The Dems largely ran on 'look how deplorable Trump and his minions views are, is that the America you want' and they split off a bunch of the suburbs for the win.

I think many Dems again see these paths the Republicans on as deplorable and ones they think voters will ultimately reject and vote for them. So in many ways this is good politics for them as the Republicans go ever more to the extremes of white supremacy and other 'deplorable' issues.


But what I fear the Dem's are not taking seriously enough is that the Republicans have no intent to 'run' on any issues as a way to win. They know they will lose the vote and the elections and they have accepted that. So now the entire focus is on how to over turn them.

And the Supreme Court has already indicated they will not be a check and balance on that. That it is Congress that needs to set those rules. But if Trump and Co hijack Congress in 2024, Congress will enshrine the opposite and potentially seal the deal for losing elections but keeping minority rule, for decades to come.

If they want this guy to get his own lead in a movie they need to focus on giving them better names!

I was in a friends Tesla in Calgary Canada (Canada's Texas) when Tesla first started hitting the road in Canada. He had one of the first one in Alberta.

The Trump GOP is responsible for more than 7 times the debt that has to now be paid as opposed to the Biden admin.

$7T for Trump and GOP and ~$700MM for Dems under Biden.

And the GOP is saying 'not paying for it, sorry Dem's that is on you'.

Fortunately for the Dems I am sure we will see the Lincoln Project hammer away effectively on the GOP for that, soon.
