I think the rotten prison culture would make the rotton cop culture look very tame.

I dont think the killer should be treated severly (assuming the post is reasonably accurate) but I dont fist pump at all. Keeping prisoners safe and secure (even the 'orrible ones) should be the no 1 priority of a prison.

The requirement for prisons to keep prisoners safe is nothing to do with sympathy for child molesters. And not fisting pumping in no way implies being shook up.

Same as when cops shoot someone who posing no threat but people don't symapthise with because they've done bad things.

If the prison pleaded temporary insanity I would be inclined to believe him.

If we can accept a spouse or parent or others might be a murderer of their family members to death in a fit of vengeful rage that borders on insanity, then this would definitely apply, imo.

I dont think any defense is required to prevent anything but a minimal punishment being appropriate or even 'not guilty' (which I would probably go for). Only exception would be if he conspired to be put into the same vincinity so that he could murder him.

Intolerable situation to be put in and it is, in effect, self defense just as much as if threatened with physical harm.

Well it's one of those situations where we can all imagine ourselves wanting to cave in someone's skull for what he did, but there's a reason we came up with the prison system. I'm far more interested in the institutional failure to protect the inmates. Neither of them should have ever been in a position where this could happen.

If he was in there for any sexual assault charge I'm surprised he was even in general population. As his cellmate, you would be pressured to go after him out of fear for your own safety. Not kill him but would be expected to **** him up.

This setup really is reprehensible though. Just shows how corrupt it all is. Like gee, I wonder how drugs get into prison? Definitely not any staff involved in that.

racists in England using hateful speech and images on social media directed at black players, and screaming epithets in person are roiling the soccer leagues and the barons of social media. regarding this, England seems to be much worse than the U.S. in its major sports although we also have this problem. the online trolls never disappear - they seem to only get more numerous and bolder. in the U.S., many of them are devotees of the fat Orange baboon who recently left office and they willingly drink his cherry Kool-Aid.
