The numerous ways it could go down leave lots of options to get buried in the minutiae. That's why I stuck to the key claim--modern humans wouldn't even know how to live up to cavemen on survival skills. And that's just lolwrong. Hunting with a spear is really hard--a gun not so much(e.g. piles of buffalo skulls) I used a really small number of people/quick event as an example because if only half the people died or something--we probably wouldn't be demoted to caveman status Obv we could dream up some scenarios where the remaining few are 100% doomed but that brings us back to why even bring up the idea at all?
